Psychotherapy for our times
Why therapy?
Since its birth over 100 years ago, psychotherapy has tried to reduce our suffering: our loneliness, depression and anxiety. Pain can emerge from many places: our relationships and family life; our work life; sexuality; death; loss; and our search for meaning and purpose, to name just a few.
We also live in a troubled world
Climate collapse; peaking inequality; a housing crisis; an AI revolution; war; economic uncertainty; identity politics. These forces can strain and warp our sense of self. How do we live in the modern world?
Working together
Working with me means building a strong and trusting relationship, and using that relationship to explore the causes of suffering in your world. Together we will surface the patterns and paradoxes that cause you pain. We’ll explore where you have freedom to approach your world differently (and where you don’t), and try to grasp opportunities to be more joyful, authentic and whole.
